Swap Quilts On The Move from Humble Quilts

This was not my planned quilt, but this is how mine turned out. I played with more fabrics and the 2 reds just seemed destined to be the main show.

I hand quilted with a cross hatch.

The backing is a lovely fabric!

Many quilts have arrived at their new home and other's are winging there way across the USA and World!

If you aren't done, don't panic. You have 17 days to get it completed and in the mail.

My Little Swap Quilt from Humble Quilts

My little swap quilt has arrived and been seen by Trish. My quilt went all the way to Buenos Aires, Argentina!

It is simple and a little on the primitive side!

Love that print for the backing.

This was the vintage quilt I was inspired by!

The last quilt to arrive went from Australia to Utah, back to Australia and then back to Utah! No fault of the sender! Post office error!! Aargh!

Cheri Friendship Group Quilt Swap from Humble Quilts

Cheri Payne's love of quilts, prim and friendships, lives on in her friendship group!

I recently took part in a quilt swap. Robin Bean was my partner and has done several Humble Quilt swaps too. We like so many of the same things.

Here is the Uncle Sam quilt she made me. We waited for each other's quilts to arrive so we could open them on the same day. She ended up calling me on messenger! That was fun! Thanks again, Robin.

Amazing Swap Quilt from Humble Quilts

I have seen some lovely and amazing swap quilts. Here is mine, and I think it must be the best! lol The bird applique is from the Cousin's Walk sampler. We were at Merry's house in spring of 2019 and she opened an old package with this BOM. We squealed with delight! I ordered online likely the last pattern available and off we went. The Final Swap Quilts! On The Slow Boat! from Humble Quilts

Back in June I posted this on the Humble Quilts facebook group inquiring on the last 3 quilts taking the "slow boat" on their journey to their swap partner. LOL

Humble Quilt Swap- Update from Humble Quilts

My little swap quilt was inspired by an antique. This was my start. My quilt is packaged and heading across the international timeline to its destination. I've extended the mail date to May 9th. Friendship Quilts- Cheri Swap from Humble Quilts

My swap quilt from France arrived last week! My partner was Betty (see the quilt I made her HERE) I love her friendship quilt!! Thank you Betty!

The "rules" actually said please add no extras, but Betty is a rule breaker, I guess!! LOL I will treasure the little extras too!!

Apple Brown Betty from Humble Quilts
